Pop-Up Weddings at Rathmoy Garden

At Rathmoy Estate, we understand that every couple has their own dreams and vision for their wedding day. That’s why we created Pop-Up Weddings, a simple, beautiful, and affordable way to celebrate your love.

With a pop-up wedding, you can save on your special day and put your budget towards your dream honeymoon, your first home, or anything else you imagine for your life together.

 

The Setting

Celebrate your love in our stunning two-hectare garden, featuring:

  • Two serene ponds with ducks and a swan
  • Lush green lawns and beautiful flower and tree varieties
  • A breathtaking view of Mount Ruapehu on clear days

This garden is a cherished legacy from Mark’s parents, especially his mother, Susana Grace, a passionate gardener. Today, our skilled gardener, Alfie, looks after this magical space.

 

What we Offer

Intimate wedding experience for up to 20 guests

  • Ceremony space and wedding celebrant
  • Complimentary nibbles, bubbles, and soft drinks
  • Wedding cake included
  • Three hours of relaxed celebration from arrival to farewell

 

After your ceremony, you can enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, such as The Argyle, or your preferred place, or continue your celebration at your preferred place (this is not included in our price).

 

Venue Hire Options & Pricing

  • Monday to Friday: 3-hour hire — NZD 3,390
  • Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 3-hour hire Time options: 10 am–1 pm or 3 pm–6 pm — NZD 4,390

We can provide accommodation to suit your needs and budget at:

  • Rathmoy Estate Riverside Lodge
  • Rathmoy Farmhouse

 

Minimal Planning, Maximum Enjoyment

All you need to bring: your outfits, wedding dress, makeup, and any photographer you wish.

We can also help you find a makeup artist or photographer if desired, making your day as stress-free as possible.
